A surreal and absurd short fiction collection by author Jeff Vandermeer, filled with exotic beasts and improbable travelers.  

Published by Tachyon Press in July of 2010, the design attempts to combine the beauty and menace that are both equally found in Vandermeer's work. The interior design was very restrained and carried over a few of the cover elements for continuity.
